"Well appointed, clean, comfortable for 6, with enough space and chairs at the table for 8 at dinner. The location is right on the lake with a deck that looks over the water. Wifi was strong enough for us to work remotely. Owner was quick and responsive to fix our slow draining sink. Location was only a few minutes drive into Troy as we were there for the graduation, which made it convenient."

"The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great for the 13 of us. The big kitchen, pantry and long dining tables made for fun interaction. The game room with pool table and ping pong table were perfect for after dinner fun. Beautiful property on the river. We plan to go back. Historic homes are tough to maintain and our hope is that it is as nice in the future as it was this week."

"We arrived and didnt know what to expect. Everyone proceeded to choose the room that seemed to just fit. We enjoyed the opportunity to sit fireside and plan our days and even had a cook out. Nobody had any complaint about the house. If it were my property i would suggest a no shoes policy. I cant think of any other place i would prefer to stay . It was safe, the neighbors were very nice and our host was the best. Thank you for everything."

"Arrived at property late in the afternoon. Noticed the house was really close to a busy road. Was a little concerned since we had our dog with us. From the outside, the house looked small, but once we got inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It was very roomy & decorated very nicely. Was able to speak to the owner one day while we were eating dinner outside. He was very nice."

"House was very roomy and met our needs. It was clean and had most everything we needed. The association has great amenities and is great for families. The lake and pool were well maintained. There is a parking permit process that must be completed. I didn't know about that until the day before our trip and didn't receive the form until the day we checked in. I wish this was communicated to me sooner. It was a minor issue that didn't impact us too much."

"We have enjoyed several stays in this wonderful cottage…usually in the winter. We were so delighted sitting on the porch in the evenings listening to the chorus of frogs by the lake. "This house was the perfect get away house for out family! The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked! We had wonderful large family dinners and enjoyed heading into town for meals and fun too. We had the best hikes with are wonderful dog that we got to include, it was a very special week. Great location and the most peaceful and amazing views from the deck and the dock. "It was wonderful, solo mom with 3 kids and this hotel checked all of the boxes. The breakfast left us full and wishing we had bigger bellies to fill. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing.
