"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee bit of whisky which was a lovely after dinner treat! The views from the wibdows were beautiful and pastoral once the sun came up around 9 am. The beds were comfortable. The shower was quite small but it worked out for us. The property is a short drive to Eileen Donan Castle. We would definitely come back here. Ida was a lovely, kind host. "

"Hotel was really nice we booked last minute and the views near by are amazing Gent on reception/bar/kitchen was really polite and helpful as he was there on his own because of holiday season Internet was down due to a bad storm that made the stay more remote as civilisation and home comforts were almost 1.5 hours away Don’t let that put you off when fully staffed and WiFi working I can only imagine the stay would be even better"

"The cottage was great for 2 people with easy access to the sights. Just two notes: 1) The stairs to the bedroom are steep, so be aware of that if you have any mobility issues. 2) The unit smells strongly of cigarettes, for those who may be sensitive."

"Me and my family had been to stay last year, and we all fell in love with the lodge and the surrounding area. We came back this year and loved it just as much. The lodge has everything that you could need. The rooms are so cosy, and the outdoor space is perfect for a coffee in the morning sunshine. We will all definitely be back again!"

"We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage despite the rain. Everything was very clean and the cottage is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is everything in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lovely enclosed back garden which is good if you have a dog. There are plenty of really good restaurants in walking distance, and a lot more if you want to drive there (Applecross Inn, Gille Brigdhe in Diabaig etc.) There are wonderful walks in the area, easier walks and also hikes up Munroes, so there is plenty to do, even if the weather is not too good. We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage and can only recommend it."
