"The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the pillows were as well. The bathroom was exactly as pictured with the rainfall showerhead and the big bath tub. It was sooo nice to have a bath after hiking all day. Service was prefect, friendly and attentive. We had dinner at the sister restaurant just down the road, i had the chicken he had the lamb and both were so tender... wonderful meals. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back."

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee bit of whisky which was a lovely after dinner treat! The views from the wibdows were beautiful and pastoral once the sun came up around 9 am. The beds were comfortable. The shower was quite small but it worked out for us. The property is a short drive to Eileen Donan Castle. We would definitely come back here. Ida was a lovely, kind host. "

"Made to feel at home right from check-in. Owner even carried our suitcase up to the room ! While the hotel did not have full catering, breakfast was truly great. Enjoyed dad giving us lots of valuable information on the area, including Skye. Would recommend to anyone,"
