"Not only did we enjoy our lodging at the Fat Badger but the meals we had there were fabulous as well. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us during their busy holiday season. "Lovely village pub perfect location for us to visit fountains Abbey rooms were comfortable and lovely and warm its basic but thats all part of the charm of this lovely old pub breakfast was an extra £10 each but was delicious and plenty of it the landlord made sure we were well looked after and had everything we wanted.we had a few drinks in the bar and there was plenty of choice and it was nice and cosy area to catch up with friends. Would stay again."

"We've stayed here before the pub is in the town center with free parking. Rooms are dated but clean, double usb sockets on bedside lamp (nice touch). Staff are polite and friendly. Nice cheap accommodation in the heart of malton. Busy karaoke bar but not too noisy in the room. Will stay again. "

"Convenient location close to the A64 and a number of Yorkshire attractions. My room was in an annexe building at the top of the car park. All was bright, clean and warm. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Ample tea and coffee in the room. Strong free WiFi. Room on the small side and bathroom tiny though adequate. "Third time we have stayed here which ought to say something. Very convenient for the A1 and the rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable. As well as that the restaurant serve very good food at reasonable prices, as it was our final night of our holiday in Scotland and we were travelling home it was very welcome. Parking is convenient and close - just outside rooms. "
