"Stayed 3 nights in Balmoral Lodge. Well equipped and comfortable. Very well placed for easy access to village centre. Would happily stay again. "

"Nothing but positive things to say about Sweet Donside Cabins. Cabins and facilities were spotlessly clean, TV beds very spacious and comfortable, with the attention to detail excellent. Hot tubs were clean and well maintained. Lots of extra touches including a welcome basket."

"Spring break. Freezing outside but lovely and warm and comfortable inside. Would have sat outside if had been warmer but the outlook was just lovely across the decking from inside. Nice lrivate outlook. Great place for exploring the area"

"Lovely peaceful stay at the Wee Snug, really spacious and loved being able to rotate the TV to watch TV in bed and relax! Games were so fun, shower is really powerful. One thing - bed is very soft FYI! Also, we struggled with getting any sort of taxi booking in the evening so I would advise booking ahead of time if you plan to venture to nearby villages etc. and want a couple drinks - we ended up just driving to places and getting takeaway and coming back to have some drinks with dinner instead....

"Totally wonderful experience, Shauna had a fire waiting for us when we arrived, the lodge was spotless and well equiped in the kitchen, the location excellent, and we got incredibly lucky with the weather - we will be back!"

"A lovely, well appointed home with comfy beds and plenty of towels etc. Seating was a bit uncomfortable in some rooms, and the heating was a challenge at first. That being said, the owners were readily available and answered all questions. I feel it would be a good idea to have instructions somewhere in the house regarding certain things to make it easier, not only on people renting, but for the owners as well. We did enjoy our time there, it's a lovely area."

"If you are looking for peace, quiet and the experience of remote living in Scotland the White House is just perfect. Car necessary as it’s a 25 min drive to nearest town with facilities. We had hired cars which was just as well as there was no way our own cars could have coped with the terrain and the snowy weather. "This is a Beautiful old 120 year old hotel with all of its charm and its great that its running Most get gutted out and turned into super expensive and exclusive rooms without any thought to the community Theres not many treasures like this left these days I bet the locals are so glad of that too Its a lovely friendly place with very friendly staff and excellent meals I wish you all the best 👍"

Nice place

"We were on a long drive home from the North Coast to Edinburgh and decided late to give up and spend the night in Aviemore. This was perfect, lovely hotel, great service, excellent filling breakfast included. And perfect location for heading up to the Cairngorm Mountain Railway the next day. "

Great Hospitality

"From the minute we arrived the staff could not been more helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, and they made you feel so relaxed. Found the atmosphere very homely and felt right at home from arrival until departure. The meals we had were excellent and everything was definitely value for money. Have already booked to go back for Hogmanay and this is the only place we will stay in the future. I cannot recommend the Ben Mhor highly enough."

Great location, comfort and staff

"Beautiful old house - that is very modern and comfortable on the inside. Staff were very helpful, and made our visit very enjoyable. Food was great, and the Quaic bar was excellent. The location was brilliant for accessing many distilleries in the area."
