"Excellent weekend stay. This is a perfect place if you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway. The meals offered at resort were vegan only so we ate out at the many restaurants nearby. The yoga classes were awesome as well. I dont understand the negative reviews but it is expensive."

"It was not as grimey or disgusting as I expected it to be. Bed was very comfy. Great location right between the Shawangunks and thr Catskills. Does look abandoned on the outside. Probably the oddest hotel I have been to. This place has a lot of potential, just needs some sprucing up."

"Knowing how old the space is, and the life it's had - it's an excellent place to stay when you're in the Liberty area. The cost was reasonable. It had more amenities than I took advantage of. My review is more of a reminder about your location - you're in a smaller town that isn't always hosting tourists. There isn't a pantry/market - there's a vending machine for drinks. There aren't name brand amenities, so bring your liquids! But there is a McDs and BK in front of and next to... a gas station...

"It’s not like the pictures, first the directions are a little sketchy, you have to park your car away from the tent , toilet was a portable potty had to walk a distance to use it . To take a shower you have to go across the street and call the guy at the barn to let you inn . We got up in the m and left , it was not to far from Bethel woods that was a good thing . The host Rose is very nice ."

"This is an "upgraded" camping experience! A peaceful setting for outdoor living, exceptionally private. Super convenient to Minnewaska. Everything you need amd exactly as described, plenty of seating for a larger group and sleeping tent/yurt makes inclement weather less of a concern than a regular tent or backpacking setup. "I don't like to put negative energy out into the Universe BUT... from the steep slippery stairs to the upside down entry door to the lack of water- no water at all in the morning- then the sulfuric water. And then there was the creepy cat picture on the wall. We named the place the S King Lodge after our favorite horror writer. The stairs alone are a red red flag.
