"Das Apartment ( wir hatten Nummer fünf) wurde wirklich sehr hochwertig erneuert. Ein tolles Bad, die bemalten Wände wirklich sehenswert. Auch die Isolation im Dachgeschoss musste wirklich hervorragend gelöst sein, denn bei über 30° Außentemperatur heizte sich das Zimmer nicht auf. Leider war die Kücheneinrichtung sehr minimalistisch. Ein kleiner Kochtopf ohne Deckel, eine kleine Pfanne, keine Schüssel kein Brotmesser, kein Flaschenöffner und so weiter. Wer nur Kaffee trinkt und sich ein Brötchen...

"The location is perfect for walking around the old town and petit France. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants and bars literally on your doorstep. There is no elevator so pack light as you need to climb many steps. The apartment is enormous and has every convenience you need. The apartment appears to be very clean but needs improvement in this area. Overalll I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay a few nights in Strasbourg "

There is also air conditioning but only in one room. It is not available in the bedroom. A washing machine is available but you have to pay extra for this which felt cheep and penny grabbing. I found the correspondence with the owner difficult and received a curt reply when seeking to clarify entry...

"Great apartment in a covenient location close to public transportation to get to the center. I did not realize the apartment was on the 4th floor (5th if you count ground floor) and there isn't an elevator to bring luggage upstairs. The steps are narrow and winding, making it challenging. "This gem is located in a quiet northern suburb of Strasbourg. The host let us check in early and gave us a great overview of the apartment and the transportation options if you don’t utilize a car. Strasbourg and Colmar are worthy of a five day vacation on their own. The cobblestone roads and old rustic homes and buildings are spectacular. You must take the boat tour and visit the Cathedral of Norte Dame in Strasbourg. Thanks Christine for such a great vacation!"

"My wife and I had a really wonderful time in Strasbourg, in no small part thanks to our excellent accommodations. This flat is centrally located, a breeze to access from the train station and a short walk away from a Tram stop. There are ample places to eat and great nightlife just outside the door. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable with a lot of historic character. I would most assuredly stay here again, given the chance."
