"I liked the serene and unique environment of the igloo. The beds were quite comfy. The accommodations were very pleasant. However, one thing was that it was fairly cold and very windy during my stay. That only made going to the bathroom a little unpleasant, but besides that everything else was great."

"A unique hotel with bedrooms and outdoor hot tub facing north so you can watch the northern lights from the hotel. At the edge of town with resteraunt and bedroom view over river and smoking hills from the local hot springs. The breakfast was amazing and staff helpful. We dined in the resteraunt a few times during our stay. The food is amazing but a little pricey. Much like all icelandic resteraunts. Some beautiful walks around the area. Would definately stay here again. "

"Bedroom was comfortable with a good, hot shower. Bed was really good and well needed after a long day exploring. Loved all the little hooks around the room for hanging stuff. (Would have liked a drying room in the hotel for our wet things!) The food options were good as was the bar (if both a little pricey compared to UK prices) Roof terrace was nice to look out over the little town. Bakery and supermarket very close for bits and pieces. Walkable in a few minutes. Would definitely return here. We had a hire car and it was about 45 mins to the airport. On the golden circle though so easy to access all roads to wherever we needed to go. "
