"I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed two separate nights during my travels and these cottages are so well equipped for a home away from home. Everything you could want is provided, they really have thought of everything. The cottages were beautiful, clean, comfortable and the views were stunning! They have plugs for EV cars at each cottage too which is a bonus for people driving e cars. I got to meet one of the owners, she was lovely. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a must stay...

"The cottage is in the perfect area to view the northern lights. It’s just close enough to the nearby town and just far enough to not get the light pollution. The outdoor hot tub for each individual cottage is perfect to sit in and watch the lights. They have the cutest ‘community’ dog that is very sweet and so well behaved. Just be aware if you are allergic to dogs! The bed seems to be a bit old and it was awkward to have just one side to get in and out through as the rest of the bed is up...

"This is super peaceful and yet close to so many things to see! The town is Selfoss is just a few minutes down the road and in the other direction, all the splendor of the south coast waterfalls await. The house is very clean and well outfitted for a comfortable stay. I plan on returning to this property."

"I loved this cottage and was so sad to leave! I have never stayed at such a comfortable and cozy place. We arrived late at night and it was such a breath of fresh air walking into the cottage. Everything was just perfect. The beds and bedding were so comfortable. We were close to the golden circle and south coast so a slow exploration of the area was possible. "

"This was a *wonderful* home to stay in for our time in Iceland. It was a hub for lots of great day trips, but there was plenty to do in the house as well -- lots of great games, a beautiful kitchen to cook and eat in, and views galore. We didn't have time to use the hot tub, but I imagine that would also have been delightful!"

"So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. The only downside is there was very limited hot water. My wife used it all up in a not very long shower. "

"This cozy little cottage next to the ocean is a great get away! It is conveniently located for sightseeing around the Golden Circle. We had some breathtaking northern lights there also. I really appreciated how extremely helpful Margret is! I would love to stay there again if I had the opportunity."

"The room was not cleaned, old towels were hanging, there was no linen in one of the beds. We booked for 10 people, but there were actually 8 seats. The staff was arrogant, no one helped.The location was close to the beach, 10 minutes walk, but the house was somewhere behind the warehouse."

"Loved staying here. We only had one unplanned surprise. We may have missed this in the listing but the instructions ask you to take all your trash with you. We drove hours with our son holding a full bag of trash until we found a place to dispose of it. We actually named our bag since he travelled with us for so long. "It was a very nice cottage in a great location. It is definitely small house living but was plenty big enough for my wife and I. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was in very good condition. The living area was well windowed and the views were spectacular. "One of the best accommodations we have in our trip. Place was really clean inside and 2 large lobby room served as a way for us to play games and eat food with while family. Best part is we were the only ones for the 3 nights we stayed. Highly recommend this place for big family. "

The home was warm, clean, well set-up, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Appreciated the shovel and sidewalk de-icing salt. Great communication with the owner, and no issues whatsoever. Comfortable cottage in the Golden Circle

"We stayed there two nights during road trip around Iceland. We were there in the first week of February, so very off season. The attached restaurant was closed for the season, but we knew that going in. Our room was nicely heated and the hot tub was filled and ready to go, which was nice. The cottage was comfortable with enough room for four adults and a decently equipped kitchen. It is located in the Golden Circle so it was easy to get to all the sites we wanted to see in the area. We would definitely stay there again"
