The bunk beds were not safe to sleep in; very unsteady. There was not a pull out sofa, just a sofa and no extra sheets or pillows. We had to go to Walmart and buy pillows. The thermostat downstairs did not work and it was extremely hot. The stair railing was loose and the transition board to the stairs was not firmly...

"Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at this restored farmhouse. It is clean, welcoming, and included everything that we needed. I also run a rental property so I know exactly what the house should and shouldn’t have and I was impressed. The host is very responsive and friendly. We knew that the lake had been drained so we enjoyed the view and peaceful setting. We would recommend it for sure!"

"Great time! Family friendly! Would stay again! The fishing boat was a big plus! We put our trolling motor on it and our two oldest boys were rarely seen and we all caught keeper catfish and small bass, Swimming in front of the house wasn't good bc if low river level but we went to the waterfall and swimming hole north of river via boat and kayak and had a blast! The firepit was really nice! You can hear the plant across the river but you learned to tune it out. Looking forward to coming back...
