"The property was as advertized. It was very spacious and with many rooms to accommodate our family. Our host was very informative, and prompt to answer any questions we had. The kitchen was filled with pots, pans and utensils for all our cooking needs.The main family rooms had plenty of updated seating where we played many games and enjoyed the billiards table, which i would consider an upgrade or repairs. "Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at this restored farmhouse. It is clean, welcoming, and included everything that we needed. I also run a rental property so I know exactly what the house should and shouldn’t have and I was impressed. The host is very responsive and friendly. We knew that the lake had been drained so we enjoyed the view and peaceful setting. We would recommend it for sure!"

"This place was not clean nor maintained. My grandkids feet were black from walking inside the house (right after their bath) as were others who walked around barefoot in the house. The bunk beds were not safe to sleep in; very unsteady. There was not a pull out sofa, just a sofa and no extra sheets or pillows. We had to go to Walmart and buy pillows. The thermostat downstairs did not work and it was extremely hot. The stair railing was loose and the transition board to the stairs was not firmly...

"Great time! Family friendly! Would stay again! The fishing boat was a big plus! We put our trolling motor on it and our two oldest boys were rarely seen and we all caught keeper catfish and small bass, Swimming in front of the house wasn't good bc if low river level but we went to the waterfall and swimming hole north of river via boat and kayak and had a blast! The firepit was really nice! You can hear the plant across the river but you learned to tune it out. Looking forward to coming back...

"We enjoyed this property for our family reunion. The house was cozy and had plenty of sleeping arrangements for our group. Beautiful patio and deck overlooking river. Lots of extras like beach towels, hammocks, rafts, kid toys, etc. We woukd definitely come back for a visit. Recommendation: better mattresses. More updated decor. We asked for a coffee pot because the one is missing. The company stated they woukd bring us one and they never did."
