"This was a terrific home. Built in 1860! WOW!! It had everything we needed. Super close to walk downtown. Unfortunately we were here for only one night - we would have loved to explore more of the historic district. We at at Annie Bailey's- a great Irish Pub. Picked up a few things at BUiLDiNG Character- a great gift and antique store. "

"We are a family of 4 including two teenage kids and we enjoyed our stay at this spacious house. The owners of the house were very thoughtful and communicative as we prepared to visit, and included lots of nice touches like a smart TV with streaming apps, board games, a gas firepit in the back, coffee, creamers, local treats, and a nice washer and dryer. "The home was very clean, and yet there were no strong cleaning or air freshening product smells which I am sensitive to. The location was very convenient to Hershey, the linens and towels met our needs well, the kitchen was stocked with basic items for cooking in, the neighborhood was quiet and lovely, and the view/outside space behind the house was so peaceful. On top of that, the owners were great with communication. Highly recommend!"

"Book the place! This place is so aesthetically pleasing. I stayed here the night before my wedding and the night of, and we are so happy we booked this place. The hosts are very communicative and so nice. We will be back!"

"We had a great trip, 7 adults and 9 for dinner some nights. Plenty of space to relax and eat. Kitchen had a lot of work space for multiple people. We cook every night. Used the grill though this time of year gets dark early and a little tough to see though there is lighting on patio. Beds were comfortable . Plenty of linens and towels.We would recommend and return S of linens,towels. Wellcomfortable "

"This is our 2nd stay at John’s place and we intend to continue making it an annual visit! It’s centrally located near many things to do in Lancaster County and close to conveniences as needed. The home is immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. We would recommend for those traveling as a family or with a group of friends. We love this home and enjoy working with the owners very much. Thanks for a great stay!"

"This house is super cute! It is on a very noisy street with a train yard right behind it. The house itself was clean. It had no television, we didn’t need one but others may want that in a house. The owners put sound machines in each of the bedrooms to offset the outside noises which was very welcomed! "

"This was our second time staying here. We totally enjoyed the scenery in spring and again, in winter. Surrounded by pines and a variety of mature trees with a beautiful pond, we enjoyed the privacy as well as the hot tub and wood cackling in the fireplace! The house is very comfortable with antique country style decor and finishes as well as the fully stocked kitchen and very comfy bed. Very clean and a genuine log home! We look forward to enjoying the house in fall! We highly recommend! "
