"The host greeted us and showed us to our lovely spacious room. It’s in a very quiet area (apart from a cockerel 🙃). Breakfast was great - a continental style plate, fresh cornetti amongst some of the options. We would recommend and will return if coming through this area again. Thank you 🙏"

Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. "We weren't allowed to use the pool, hot tub or sauna, priority guven to a wedding reception. Some mosquitoes were aound and Japanese beetles. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Villa was nice."

"We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. Breakfast was a simple affair but with delicious bread and home-made conserves. No cappuchinos available. "Wonderful family run hotel/restaurant and eco-friendly business with complete working farm where just about all of the meat and fowl as well as fruits and vegetables are raised. I'm sure it would be even more fun for families with children as there are many play and learning activities for the children"

"Great centre for exploring the area . Venice by train from Rovigo. Verona and Bologna by car. Lots of other locatios. Great hostess. Not a swish hotel but a friendly place to enjoy exploring Italy. Great air con. Brilliant. Would return to the Ranch 555"
