"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. "Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"Wunderschönes Haus und Zimmer, die mit viel Holz selbst gezimmerte Einrichtung ist klasse. Frühstück ok, frische Brötchen und warme Eier wären prima. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es nicht viel zu sehen. Leider sind die Strassen sehr sehr schlecht, so dass man für Ausflüge (Ferrara eigentlich nur knapp 30km weg) mehr Zeit einplanen muss. Fazit: Für einen Zwischenstopp sehr gut. "

"Staying at Corte Stellata was wonderful. Emanuela, Gabrielle and Sophia were welcoming and helpful hosts. The apartment was beautifully appointed, clean and restful. It’s close proximity to Ferrara made it easy to see the historical highlights there, while it’s location in a rural village lent an authentic feel to our visit. Walking on the rural roads and dike along the Po was safe and easy. A lovely retreat!"

"Our stay at Corte Stellata was amazing. The apartment was spotlessly clean, cosy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. It was very quiet and in an idyllic countryside setting.
