"24 South was a beautiful hotel, the former Stonewall Jackson hotel. We attended a family wedding and the reception was held in the beautiful conference room. Staff at reception, the wedding reception and breakfast were helpful and cheerful. Staunton is a lovely town with friendly people and great history. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"The room was clean but the price - $244 including taxes per night - is way too high for an accommodation of this level. In some cities of Europe you can stay in a palace (literally) for this price, and Staunton is not Madrid, so it feels like a ripoff. First we were given a room with the detective toilet - had to switch. The old type under-the-window AC blows cold air straight into closest bed: if I slept in it - I would wake up sick with a cold (happened before). Having a fridge in a room is...

"This was a very unique hotel in that it used to be a coffee shop and has now been converted to a small hotel. The upstairs apartment is divine. Loved the furnishings and decor. And the downstairs with the bar/coffee area is so fun. It is a wonderful concept and you will definitely enjoy your stay here. Bed and pillows are comfy, self check in is a breeze, and you’ll feel like a store owner during your stay. It’s absolutely the definition of Extraordinary!"

"Hotel is okay but we were given a room for people with disabilities that did not work well for us: shower not functional, tv aside the bed, no suitable desk and lack of electric plugs. Overall room displacement designed for people with disabilities should not be offered unless you require it"
