"A fabulous stay, Olde-Worlde charm abounds, from the plush sofas in the beautiful sunny lounges to the library and games room. Our room was quite modern and very comfortable, a 3rd floor room that stayed toasty and warm without turning on the heater even on the crisp autumn nights. The dining room has Breakfast options at a reasonable price, and it was convenient and plentiful, good quality food. The location was handy to the main street and other facilities. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot in the carpark but the signage could be better as the interior boom-gate is a bit confusing. Felt very safe here, would come again."

"When we reached there we surprised accordingly price and all we didn’t expect This much Beautiful facility its looks so relaxing and cozy awesome for winter time also my kids love the Hotel room and there is Tea Room which is so beautiful everything was so cozy and warm and comfortable feels very relaxing restaurant was also very nice just one suggestion u guys can increasing your restaurant menu by adding some Indian food or maxican or Italian food as well as Australia is multicultural so yes there was no option for vegetarian and even not chips so it’s my one and only suggestion Rest everything was so so nice i really enjoyed and the colour combination of curtain painting everything was give u a pleasant feeling 5 star from my side and it’s very genuine "

"I was impressed by the quality of this motel. My room was spotlessly clean and nicely updated, with every convenience one would expect. A toaster was a nice touch. It's obvious the owners take pride in the upkeep of their property. I particularly like the convenience of literally parking at your front door at this traditional one level motel. No stairs to lug your luggage up to distant rooms. The motel is conveniently located with only a very short drive to Katoomba and Leura. As it's ocated off the main highway, it's quiet at night, with only light traffic on the nearby Old Bathurst Road. I found the staff friendly, efficient and welcoming. I noticed a large library of board games and DVDs in reception, which would be good for families. I would gladly stay at the Sky Rider again."

"Great location in centre of Katoomba. Can walk to shops and restaurants easily. Room was nice too with table and chairs and plenty of space. The only thing the after hours check instructions were a bit unclear to where rooms are and we had to explore whole property to find room. Some general room number signs (ie 25-35 that way) would help"
