"I liked that a lot of thought was put into the additions to the room and helpful folder . I was worried that I'd be woke up by seagulls or other guests but definitely no thin walls here . Nice to be able to walk to see the beach in less than a minute and Long King restaurant if you're hungry . We found being close to a bus stop very handy too . A great place to stay ."

"It is a period property with friendly & welcoming hosts. The full English breakfast is cooked to order from local produce. Which is amazing. Perfect to stay and relax and enjoy Scarborough harbour and beach. "

"I was informed about being on the 4th floor in advance of my stay, which was not a problem. However, the stairway is steep and has many doors to pass through. The room itself is compromised for height by being in the eaves but not a problem for a solo traveller. Would be a different review if I had been offered this"luxury" double room as a couple"

"Beautiful Georgian house in good location, walking distance into the Town, and to all local restaurants and sights. Comfortable room with large modern shower/bathroom. Host was very friendly and helpful with local information and advice. Lots to see, many good eateries, and good local transport if you wish to get out along the coast."
