"We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, no downstairs smoke alarm I could spot. "All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "What a gem! Spacious flat with huge comfy beds. The host has been so thoughtful to leave all sorts of things to help guests feel at home like books & games, toiletries, food and even coffee. Just off the town centre. We'll definitely be back!"

"Hotel is very nice. Room and customer areas are spotless. Room is comfortable, though you can hear the road noise quite a bit. Staff are very friendly and helped me with the projector in the conference room. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you "

"Great hotel, with very friendly staff. Room spacious and comfortable. Bathroom large, but only one hook in the bathroom, and not much area to put stuff on; if I’d been travelling with my wife, my bathroom clutter would’ve been consigned to the bedroom."
