"The hotel is on a lovely cobblestone street right behind Covent Garden-lovely area full of nice restaurants and stores. Be aware that there are no vehicles allowed on that street so you have to walk about 100 ft to get to hotel. The hotel is in a very narrow townhouse with what seems to be a nice restaurant on the ground floor. "First impressions stay with you unfortunately. We checked in before our room was ready - absolutely no problem, On return, and after a very tiring day - we had to make 3 trips to and from reception as the key we were given didn’t work. No apology for the inconvenience. Maintenance then came and the issue fixed and he was very apologetic. We had to rescan our card for ‘extras’ and I didn’t like to see mine and other guests check in forms left on the front desk for all to see - a gdpr issue....
