"I enjoyed my brief stay at St Mellion’s. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and tastefully decorated for the festive period. The bed was huge and the bathroom had plenty of towels and handwash/shower gel etc. Although there weren’t many gluten free options on the restaurant menu, the staff were helpful and made me a GF steak and chips which was perfectly cooked. The cooked breakfast was all GF and a very generous portion. I would definitely stay again. "

"Spectacular views, clean modern and tastefully decorated, we contacted the property manger when we arrived with a couple of questions and "immediate response and follow up" Walking the beach in the mornings, photographing the wild pheasants, talking to the friendly neighbors, are just some of the activities we embarked upon. We ate at 4 of the restaurants recommended from the comprehensive information materials in the kitchen. Cooking dinner while watching the fishing boats on the Atlantic ocean return from the days fishing was surreal. A breathtaking location picturesque and relaxing. Pet friendly beaches and two spectacular balconies overlooking the ocean. Plymouth, East Looe and Fowey we just a few of the locations we enjoyed close by, the cream on the top of the experience was the property manger had a beautiful Christmas tree placed in the living room A++++++ "

"Lovely room so able to relax. Good communication from the hotel - it wasn't open the night I stayed but I was sent details of the keypad for the front door & key to the room was available. A list of food delivery options was provided as food not served that night. Tea/coffee in the room plus toiletries. It's a lovely place to stay &, if visiting the area, close to the main road, beaches, small villages but only 20 minutes or so from Plymouth. Definitely recommend whether for business (decent free wifi) or leisure."

"The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! "
