"It was a very nice home away from home. It was clean and was very spacious. Nice neighborhood and the walking path was excellent, also close to Mayo Clinic. Quiet neighborhood, restful and peaceful. The Host responded to inquires very promptly. Would recommend. "

"We were super happy with our unit. The three bedrooms were good size. The TV in the main area was easy to set up with our gaming system. The kitchen and fridge we also good size and can handle a fair amount of groceries. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The deck was nice and had a beautiful view of the river and dam. If we come back to Alma, we will most certainly stay here again and perhaps rent an additional unit for more friends we'd like to come out with us. "

"This property is lovely and worked out very well for our family of four. Plenty of space, comfortable beds and furniture, and a nice kitchen with all the basics. We also love the location, walking distance to so many great spots in the historic downtown and a short drive to other spots. Highly recommend!"

"We had a very nice stay at the Big River Inn! The unit looked just like the photos. The location is great; you can walk to numerous places to eat or grab a beer. There are museums, places to hike, and so much scenic beauty close by. The hosts were great with their communication. The only downside (as others have noted) is that you will hear trains here, although they seem quieter at night. "

"Property is in a beautiful historical building located within walking distance of many downtown establishments. Also took advantage of the bike trails in the area. Enjoyed the full kitchen stocked with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Only suggestion might be to upgrade with more comfortable funiture in the living room area. "This was a great location in relation to the Mayo. I wish you would do something about the steps up to the unit. The gutter over the bottom step leaks and drips on that bottom step. It froze over night and when I went out the next morning I slipped on that step. I was able to catch myself but someone else might not. It was adequate for our needs. The landlord was very receptive to our needs. One last thing was the TV is not hooked up to anything so it was of no use. Overall for the price it was...

"I really enjoyed my stay here, check in was smooth the host was helpful and it really felt like home. I felt safe and comfortable in the complex. There’s a lot of places nearby and it’s right in between the Mayo campus and Saint Marys campus which was very ideal, I was able to get around without having to drive at all. I would recommend bringing a cutting board though if you’re planning to cook at all lol. I was able to hear my neighbors and footsteps but I didn’t really mind, the floors are...
