Penthouse is spacious and clean with a great view out over the city towards the sea. One pretty major issue though - neither of the bedrooms had curtains or blinds so when the sun comes up at 04:45 in June that’s a massive problem! Why no curtains? Lack of sleep made my next day rather miserable. "

"Perfect place for me to work. Lots of space for one person (or 2). Cozy Aga. Atmospheric large gardens. Excellent and delightful on site manager. This is old fashioned and hasn’t been decorated for a while. But a well equipped kitchen set up. Excellent large kitchen table and endless possibilities to cook on the Aga. "The property was ideal for the two of us and was nice and private and well screened from other houses in the close. The host was in good communication with us before our visit and was friendly and welcoming in person. The annexe was very clean and well equipped and the host left out some goodies for us on our arrival which were greatly appreciated."

"Nice place and nice surroundings. Well positioned for the south east corner of Cornwall. It's not often you go away these days to a self catering cottage and don't get a welcome pack. Even if it's just a pint of milk. But not here. Also, free access to Wi-Fi is now pretty standard, but again not here. A couple of small things that could have made it perfect. "

"The property is cute and very well located to visit Tintagel and Port Isaac. It was immaculately clean and the bathroom had been recently updated. The location is also very quiet and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue we had was that the house is (obviously) very old and it was quite damp inside. "We had a wonderful 2 nights in the treehouse - such a beautiful peaceful spot. Andy and Caroline were excellent hosts - we were very grateful for the use of the 4 wheel drive to get us down the track and it was interesting to hear the story of the treehouse. It was a unique and memorable experience and we would highly recommend it to others.
