"A lovely hotel where the staff were absolutely wonderful, the kids were over the moon with the biscuits the lady on reception gave us, just a little touch but it was lovely. The room was a little dated but had all we needed and was well maintained and clean which is more important than the era of furniture (think 1990s pine era). The initial lack of signage for the car park had us almost parking out the front in a car park full of pot holes but as we got out we realised the car park was round...

"A one night stay in central Stamford worked well. Very old building and very quirky. I called to see where i could park and the owner came out and showed me a space in his car parking area. Breakfast was in a fridge in the room with fresh milk , cereals, tea coffee etc which was fine. Be prepared for small stairs!"

"Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay . Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel. Loved it will defo stay again"
