She felt like someone who we would want to be our friend, we even stopped at the front desk the next night just to chat with her! Our room was comfortable and clean, perfect for a nice couple's weekend away. We would definitely recommend the Stoney Creek Inn, and hope to be back soon! "

"We arrived a day early anticipating a major winter storm which kind of put a damper on our Anniversary celebration. Most of the shops and restaurants were closed due to the weather. We did enjoy our time at the Irish Cottage Inn playing games and dining at Frank O’Dowds Pub!"

"My wife and I decided to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary in Galena. We haven’t been to the area since middle school for field trips/school ski trips etc. we live about 2.5 hours away so it was a nice scenic drive. We booked a cottage at the LeFevre resort and it did not disappoint. Everything was exactly as described. Was pleasantly surprised that there was actually a wood burning fireplace as that was a dealbreaker. The jetted tub was also a necessity and it was perfect. Great scenery and a wonderful staff made the stay a weekend to remember. Hoping to bring the entire family back if possible and will definitely stay here again!"

"The property was clean and thoughtfully stocked. It had everything we needed, including soft towels, plenty of board games, a lovely coffee bar with a selection of coffee, teas and snacks. We were especially appreciative of the fireplace and wood since we traveled in the winter. "

"We stayed at this property because we wanted to be outside if downtown Galena but also be within driving distance. It was an easy 10 minute drive to downtown. Clean house and they had everything we needed!"

"Nice place! Close to shopping and dining. Need blackout curtains in room. Also a mini fridge would be nice in room. They do have a common area with a fridge and microwave and stove which is nice. Would definitely stay here again"

"No lock on door to room not real clean. Quiet. Friendly, almost too friendly. It is a $50/night stay, you cant expect more than that. "
