"Nice boutique feel to the hotel. Overall decor was good, a few tired elements let it down like the iron burn on the carpet and the bathroom flooring. Staff very very friendly. Everywhere was very clean. Good spot to stay to access the city centre."

"We had a lovely stay in one of the garden rooms for 2 nights. All staff were really friendly. We had breakfast included which had a good selection and would recommend the porridge! We had two evening meals and they were fresh, tasty and filling. The atmosphere in the dining and lounge areas is relaxing and perfect for us. The location was ideal for us to visit further along the Norfolk coastline and the Broads. This isn’t the first time we have stayed at the Wayford Inn and we we hope to returning again. "

We have stayed in so many hotels over the years and have never come across rooms so clean and the en-suite as well was immaculate. Staff are amazing and breakfast 1st class. "We went to Dunston Hall for a weekend break and we were not disappointed. Our room was lovely and everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations. If there was one small criticism it was that our double bed, though individually comfortable, was made up of two singles of different heights! This led to my wife waking up with back pain due to ending up laying across the joint! "

"We stayed as a couple for one night as we were going to the very nearby Norwich arts centre for a gig. The hotel was both classy and cosy, everything was a nice size ( room, bed, bathroom etc), very clean and everything we needed. The building itself is grand, kooky and welcoming. The staff were just incredible and we enjoyed our chats with them....they were very knowledgeable including about the history of the hotel and what else was of interest in the local area. Breakfast was quality ( and we are food snobs as we used to live in France). Really couldn't fault anything. Next time, we'll be back with more time hopefully as we regretted not being able to try out the cocktails at the lovely bar!!"
