We like nature and were delighted with all the birds and the occasional deer too. Alan and Kathy were lovely and made sure we were happy with everything. "Annual girls trip; expectation of relaxation and fun. Upon arrival the Lodge was clean, new carpets, clean walls, new kitchen and well appointed/decorated throughout- looks can be deceiving. Preliminary walk around and checks found there was no fire alarms, fire blanket and no Welcome pack or inventory list of what to expect or where to go for emergency planning. Locks to back door broken- no keys to the other back and side door. Mouse trap and fresh droppings under the sink. No PAT testing of...

"A lovely place to stay for a family break."

"Beautiful cottage in a great village location on the outskirts of Lincoln. The cottage is very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The only negative being the busy road to the front of the property. This is only a minor negative which wouldn't prevent us from staying here again. Franny the host couldn't be faulted for the service she provided."

"Great dining room allowed four to eat in comfort and a relaxing lounge for us to play games and lie back on recliners by the wood stove."

"A lovely house which was perfect for our short family break. The house is completed to a high spec and the garden is very well maintained. The bar area is a bonus and a really nice area for socialising. Location was good to go to beaches and other local areas. Most things are within a 10-15 minute drive. Kids and grandparents really enjoyed the stay."

"quite a spacious cottage and well laid out kitchen was equipped with enough for our needs, quiet and comfortable with enough secure garden for all to enjoy and not worry about the dogs wandering off, the camp site next door made us feel very welcome and they have a little shop with essentials in it, they also have a cafe open from 9:30-11:30 offering a good breakfast, doge are welcome too and well looked after also getting a doggie brekkie, with a warm friendly atmosphere "

"We booked for the weekend with family members to celebrate a 70th birthday. On arrival, we were amazed at the beautiful house and were very impressed with the high spec furnishings and sizes of the rooms. The bedrooms were so spacious and the quality again was excellent with plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The hot tub was amazing and extremely clean as was the whole house. We all had an amazing stay and will certainly be booking again"

"The place is amazing the garden are great but couple off things we didn't like we could not have a shower as the room was so cold it was impossible to shower in that room its ok when its summer but in winter spring that room needs some heating and one other thing that we felt we were being watch all the time didn't feel comfortable it was like big brother rewards mr.m.hudson"

"Absolutely beautiful accommodation, the pool, outside dining area, in fact all of the grounds are magnificent. Marie and Ian are amazing hosts, warm, kind, great sense of humour. Our two dogs fell in love with the grounds and more so with Marie the host. I would recommend a stay here… We feel recharged… Thank you for an amazing stay…"
