Good for a quick stay. Family room was nice with separate rooms. No elevator however so Be prepared to lug your luggage up a few flight of stairs!

Sadly this hotel is now not up to standards of modern hotels - for a business or non golfing leisure visitor user like me it is dated and need of a complete overhaul. There are now good quality budget hotels moving in to the area offering much better standards of hospitality and beds at far less (I didn’t check before booking in Expedia) The breakfast service was indifferent with clearly staff overstretched verging on rude but put that down to lack of training.

Booked a small double room and it was this,horrible tiny red hot room,outside overlooking a brick wall,bathroom door didn't open fully as bath was blocking it,very small double bed pushed up against the wall,so one of us had to claim over to get in,constant humming from the kitchen fans,when ppl shut their doors our room shock,floor boards moving and creaking,woken up at 5.15 with kitchen pans clanging, very dated hotel ,only plus was the breakfast was a tasty buffet

The hotel was overall very good. Staff friendly and helpful and food was very good. Only thing that would improve the hotel is the rooms and bathrooms could be refurbished as both are looking a bit dated. But they are clean. Hotel grounds are well kept and ample parking.

The room my wife and I had was a small double, but at 71 years old I getting a bit beyond crawling into bed, I think the door opening into the bathroom should open into the bedroom & sockets next to the bed would be better. The room over all was clean and tidy, with a good tea tray. I think over £10 each for breakfast is a bit steep.😀😀

Stayed at the hotel when visiting friends and was very convenient for us,we found the staff very friendly and helpful but the property is in need of a good clean and update. We had lunch on arrival and although the food was good non of the tables were clean,it appeared that tables were cleared when people left not not cleaned and crumbs and food were on the tables and seats. When going to our room the stairs carpet looked like it hadn’t had a good clean for a long time. Our room was ok but the bath panel was peeling paint and warped with water damage,the room need black out blinds as the room was very light as soon as the sun rises.

Lovely setting my double room was quite basic no bedside table to put my things on i needed during night double bed up against wall small room.A little dated bathroom needs updating .There were no big windows to open just small ones at top that opened a small amount.There was a constant noise like a generator going all the time i was there from outside the window.I have stayed in better places for the money .
