"The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. We loved the decor and the privacy. The river is short walk from the front door. We would stay again for sure. "

"We positioned ourselves in Cambridge Springs PA so that we could travel up to 6 hours northeast to 6 hours southwest to catch the 2024 Eclipse. We were fortunate that we needed to only travel about 2 hours west to Ohio to catch the best weather. We would have had a wonderful view from the Cambridge Springs location, but were unsure about the weather. The cottage was homey and well stocked with everything we needed. We didn’t take advantage of the game room in the basement, preferring to cozy up...

"The owners did not miss one detail, and we truly appreciate all of it. Everything g you need is there, very clean, beautiful location. I would highly recommend this to everyone. We stayed for a wedding in Edinboro, but we were only 20 minutes from the casino as well, we grilled on the deck twice, made breakfast and slept very well"

"This is the most well stocked VRBO in which we have stayed. Eggs from then farm chickens was such an added touch. The setting is beautiful. My daughter’s graduation pictures ended up looking like we picked a professional photographer. Note, the shower is upstairs only and the steps are steep. There is a deep bathtub downstairs, but for my older family this presented a challenge."

"The property was as good or better than advertized. It was clean and well maintained (and huge). The owner was helpful and available if any questions arose. The location was awesome...just a quick walk to all the town had to offer. We would definitely recommend."

"Although we only stayed for a weekend, we had a wonderful stay. Our dogs stayed with us, and we were very impressed with the cute little dog basket with doggie needs in the laundry room. Our daughter also loved the "spa" atmosphere and the numerous options available to pamper herself during our stay. Cozy little getaway with a lake view and had everything we needed and more for our weekend getaway!"

"My friends and I are all turning 40 this year, so we decided to pick a different weekend activity to celebrate each birthday. My friend Bob was the birthday boy this weekend and he just wanted to hangout somewhere peaceful and sereen with golf courses and some nice play to grab a bite to eat and a drink. It was an added bonus that afew of the guys where edinboro university alumni so we got to go down memory lane as well back 20 years ago when we all hung out over on campus. The house was above...

"This was our first year staying at this rental and we plan on being regulars. The property was ideally situated and the owners went out of their way to accommodate our family. We couldn’t be happier."

"This was our second stay at this lovely house on the river. We had 6 adults plus our dogs, so we were thrilled to find a place to accommodate such a large group. Enjoyed the front porch overlooking the river, which was big enough for all of us to use at once, and made use of the back patio with grill. Many charming antiques throughout the house and a beautiful (and large) hand made dining room table. We brought several kayaks and really enjoyed the river. "Our group of 9 (including 3 children) had a wonderful 3 night stay here during our trip to view the total solar eclipse. The downstairs was spacious and comfortable, and had ample seating for eating, lounging, etc. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and that there were extra supplies (paper towels, tissues, soap, etc) on hand.
