" Beautiful, clean property with pleasant and friendly staff. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and a lovely bath with deep tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring Rotterdam. "Right next to the cruise terminal which is very convenient. The view of the city and water is stunning from the front of the hotel. Staff were very welcoming and kind, and called us to follow up once we got to our room to check if we needed anything. The room was remarkable. "My stay was very comfortable. I was very positively surprised by the amenities and cleanliness of the hotel. Bedroom comes with towels and bathrobes. Bathroom has shower gel, shampoo and hand soup + lotion, hairdryer etc. I was amazed by the kitchen as well. They have drinks on tap, coffee, tea, ability to heat food, cutlery and plates. "My stay was let down by a very unhelpful and rude member of the bar staff. I have a food allergy and asked for the allergen list. He stated that they don't have one... He wasn't at all interested in helping and claimed that none of the food had the allergen that I have (false). His attitude was one of I don't want to help, I don't want to look for the list, tough! "

Bare bones, but the bones were good

"This hotel was a great find. Good location, big clean rooms. The rooms had comfortable beds (although the pillows were a little cheap and uncomfortable), and the bathrooms were modern and immaculate. The toiletries game in-room was a bit poor, although they did have some to collect at reception upon request . Lovely front desk staff, and the toothbrushes offered were good quality. Breakfast was quite basic, but serviceable, and the restaurant staff was friendly and professional . The same goes for their bar, where we had snacks and cocktails at with friends. The whole impression of the hotel was of excellent quality basics, with all of the frills removed- and they were not much missed. We'd return here glady if ever back in The Hague. "
