There was a distinct smell of marijuana in our room. We told the front desk. They said they could put a machine in our room to help to remove the smell. We were told that the machine would be loud and would take up a lot of space in our small room. We asked to be moved to another room, but we’re told they were fully booked. At 11 PM two staff members came to our room and realized how bad it was. They moved us to the neighboring hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Doubletree, Rotherham and it was an experience that mey all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with a warm greeting and helpful information about the hotel amenities. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the service attentive without being intrusive. The hotel’s location is another big plus, conveniently near all pulic transportation and within walking distance of the shopping area and restaurants made exploring the city easy and stress-free. Overall, my stay at the Doubletree was excellent. The combination of great service, and prime location made it a memorable experience.

Great location. Room was cold.
The hotel is across the street from the airport and you can arrive by the metro. The food was acceptable. The room was all right except a blood stain on the carpet. It was cold during my one night and I had trouble get the room heated. If I would stay one night for airport convenience again.
