"Alex, a young man from France, checked us in and was especially helpful and kind. We took his recommendation for authentic Cajun food and it was excellent. Donelle, the manager was wonderful as well, giving us a personal tour of the house along with many stories. She and her family were part of the rich history of the area, so she had many inside anecdotes. This is a special place to stay if you have any interest in delving deeper into Lafayette and Cajun heritage."

"Amazing historic property. It was so beautiful I wish we had stayed longer. Great staff and a wonderful breakfast. I would highly recommend. Room was delightful and comfortable. Grand hoise with an amazing history."

"Large modern house and grounds are more of a wedding venue than a B&B. A number of basic maintenance issues need attention. Nice garden. Friendly staff."

"Such a quaint and beautiful property just an hour away from New Orleans. Claudette was an incredible host with all the knowledge of places to eat, things to see and adventures to go on! Highly recommend if you’re looking for something off the beaten path to explore Louisiana. Breakfasts were a plus and delicious. Thanks again for an amazing stay! "

"The cabin had a long pier with lights, great location, and all the needs to cater for some fishing. Crabbing was also great on the pier. We knew some spots in Grand Isle for big fish, but this location could have sufficed on its own for younger kids looking to crab and fish."
