"We had such a nice little vacation here! The house is beautiful and well appointed—Patti even decorated it lavishly for Mardi Gras. We loved the location because we could go off in all directions to find things to do and fabulous restaurants. Only one tiny suggestion: the beautiful bathtub is very slippery and dangerous for getting out—it could use a nonslip pad or strips and something to grab when exiting the bath. Patti was attentive to our every need, just the best host ever!"

"This was my second stay here with friends and family. I hope for many more in the future! The house is cozy and modern. Easy 10 minute drive to a little local grocery store. The dock is set up nicely for fishing. Boat launch is about 100 yards down the road. It's really a lovely little house and the hosts were extremely accommodating."

"I live in New Mexico and came down to visit family. This was the perfect setting to see my grandchildren and great-grand-children. My great-grandson caught a fish which was one of the highlights of the stay. The outside porch facing the river was a serene setting where I enjoyed my morning coffee. At night I listened to Hoot Owls talk to each other. I reccomend this cabin to anyone who is looking for piece and quiet."

"Very nice place to stay. Great communication with the property manager/owner. Main draw back were the beds, super uncomfortable. House air temp was not allowed to go lower than 70 and I like temps in the 60s for sleeping only. Aside from that it was excellent location and place. "

"We had a family fishing trip to Fourchon and stayed here. Easy drive to the fishing charter and beautiful scenery to sit outside and relax afterwards. Location and camp well-kept. Sofa bed could be more comfortable, but we made it work. Overall, would stay again. Also, be sure to support your local fishermen and buy from the shrimpers down the road. Beautiful shrimp!"

"The cottage was a beauty loved all the cypress wood thru out this little home it had a lot of character. My favorite was the claw foot tub with the chandelier, the water was as hot as you would want it to be. It was my own little personal oasis!The wrap around porch was very nice for cooking and hanging out. It was very private on family land, and Mr. Buz was a great host with the family history. The location was perfect for us. Thank You!"

"The cabin had a long pier with lights, great location, and all the needs to cater for some fishing. Crabbing was also great on the pier. We knew some spots in Grand Isle for big fish, but this location could have sufficed on its own for younger kids looking to crab and fish."
