"Loved our time at Escape Aitutaki. The house was beautiful and had all the necessary facilities. We had our own private deck and pool at the back which was lovely. Great place to relax and enjoy the sea view. Thomas and Lizzy were very friendly and helpful as were the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. "Spacious, well equipped, clean ( except for a few long dark hairs in shower) private ( most of the time , untimely visit to service pool on day of my departure, could have been planned better) . 2-3 really loud barking dogs next door, relentless particularly during night. "Very low key and on the beach, Te Rito captured everything good about island life. Michelle was nearby to assist if we needed help and we did not. One heads up: if you land on Sunday, grocery stores are closed.Restaurants were open and superstar driver Max took us to the one grocery open.Great place on a perfect beach!"

"My husband and I absolutely loved staying here at the Rarotonga Villas :-) Owners Jo & Neville were always so attentive and welcoming, they definitely made us feel comfortable and made sure we had a good time everytime we had an activity. "Very comfortable Villa with everything you need to be self sufficient. Spacious with a lovely deck looking out to ocean. Ocean breeze or fans to keep you cool. Window screens were great to keep out bugs. Ure was so helpful and when we had a maintenance issue she was on to it straight away. A very generous late check out was also much appreciated. Watched whales go past as we sat on the deck. Highly recommend."

"We stayed here for seven nights and had a great time - you will need scooters/car/bike to get around - even though there is an hourly but this will give you a bit more freedom... we watched whales breaching from the deck and nearly noone on the beach - it is very much the quiet part of town which is what we wanted to we just loved it. Wigmores supermarket up the road and a pizza shop right out the front! It was just easy and a great intro to Rarotonga for us :)"

Nice and quiet as it is a smaller accommodation and there weren’t many other guests around when we were there. Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort - Adults Only

"Really close to all 5 stars. The only reason it’s not 5 stars all the way around is bc we have stayed at similar 5 star island resorts that were in slightly better condition. Having said that, I highly recommend this place for a tranquil, unique (in a good way), and true island experience. There are few places with this small of a population and community that you can visit and still be welcomed by the locals. We will be back to visit the other Cook Islands for sure. "

"I had the most wonderful time at the Expedia. The location is glorious, the food is fantastic (and very reasonably priced), and the staff could not have been more friendly, generous, helpful and welcoming. I particularly appreciated the Edgewater's on-site activities adviser: Tamatoa. I visited him every day for recommendations and advice about things to do around the island, and his suggestions were spot on. He even rang around and made bookings for me. All in all, my week at the Edgewater was bliss. I'll definitely be going back."

"I loved that my room had everything i needed for example washing machine/dryer, basically a full kitchen & everything that you need, table/chairs, outdoor area it's like a mini home. I was a little scared to take a shower at night but i got use to it. Sane (manager) was very lovely making sure i was alright etc the other staff gave me a mango on my way out (thankful because i love them). I will be recommending this spot to anyone who's looking for accomm in Raro."
