"Really close to all 5 stars. The only reason it’s not 5 stars all the way around is bc we have stayed at similar 5 star island resorts that were in slightly better condition. Having said that, I highly recommend this place for a tranquil, unique (in a good way), and true island experience. There are few places with this small of a population and community that you can visit and still be welcomed by the locals. We will be back to visit the other Cook Islands for sure. "

"I had the most wonderful time at the Expedia. The location is glorious, the food is fantastic (and very reasonably priced), and the staff could not have been more friendly, generous, helpful and welcoming. I particularly appreciated the Edgewater's on-site activities adviser: Tamatoa. I visited him every day for recommendations and advice about things to do around the island, and his suggestions were spot on. He even rang around and made bookings for me. All in all, my week at the Edgewater was bliss. I'll definitely be going back."

"I loved that my room had everything i needed for example washing machine/dryer, basically a full kitchen & everything that you need, table/chairs, outdoor area it's like a mini home. I was a little scared to take a shower at night but i got use to it. Sane (manager) was very lovely making sure i was alright etc the other staff gave me a mango on my way out (thankful because i love them). I will be recommending this spot to anyone who's looking for accomm in Raro."
