"I should prep this by saying I've stayed at this hotel a few dozen times in the past, as a child, as a teen, as a young adult, and now as an older adult. I've watched it go through some interesting changes. 20 years ago it was a scary hotel to stay at, but now its quite pleasant. The staff is friendly, english speaking people, the majority of people staying at the hotel for an extended period seem to be working class folks in transition between places to live or simply on the road working.
