"Feathers Shepard's hut is a lovely quaint perfect peaceful get away. The hut itself is beautiful and hosted very well with fresh fluffy towels, tea coffee sugar cereals and milk. Also the bedding was lovely.The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because the 'super king size' bed was in fact 2 mattresses put together. Also the fridge was so very small you wouldn't be able to store food for a BBQ in it."

"We had a wonderful weekend in this shepherds hut. Sam was a great host, excellent communication before the stay and when we arrived. The hut was exactly as the photos depict on the website. Once the heater had done its job, it was really cosy and warm in there despite the outside temperature. Can't fault it. Would highly recommend. Pevensey Bay/Eastbourne are well worth a visit. "There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. "The property was very clean and well maintained, but the walk down from the car park to the hut site was a bit of a trek, and very badly maintained owing to the fact it was a public footpath , and the access path through the gate was very precarious other than that it was an excellent base for Leeds castle and other attractions,the accommodation was in excellent order and very peaceful."
