"Before you book this hotel, ask yourself what will you be doing in Santa Cruz. The room was very clean. The shower head was high enough for my 6'4" husband, and the water pressure was decent. The bed was a bit on the firm side, but not so hard that we were uncomfortable. The sink area was separate from the toilet and shower which is always nice However, there wasn't a towel rod by the sink, so the hand towel we were using had to be just laid on the counter. "This is how a hotel should be run. Its clean, the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are well stocked with coffee and the room is not excessively cleaned every day. I dislike towels washed every single day even if they have not been used. They are ask you to call house keeping if you need a room cleaning. The breakfast was very good, hot options, and loads of coffee. Staff ran around making sure everything was well stocked and clean."
