"The Nootka lodge was an interesting stay! Nice place but the “family” room is set up strange. Two bedrooms and a small kitchen with a couch in it with no tv. So there is no place to just hang out and watch tv with the family. "

"This was my 3rd stay at the Thayers Inn in as many years. The staff is always super friendly and courteous. The hotel is well maintained considering it the age of the building. If you are staying here, you need to be willing to accept that there will be no elevator, rooms may not be state of the art, bathrooms are outdated but that's all part of the charm! "

"Positives: free parking, check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, and the area was really quiet. The shower had good water pressure, and the room was nicely lit. Room has a mini-fridge and coffee maker. There’s a nice heated pool (didn’t use it). Areas that could be improved: breakfast was a bit disappointing; soiled bed cover; room didn’t have a full-body mirror; shower was quite small, felt a bit cramped; far from any walkable restaurants, had to drive out to grab some dinner."
