"Nice hotel. Super friendly host. Tasty breakfast. Great pool. 30 minutes walking to port, airport or downtown. Downside: pool closes at 5 pm, still sunny, super hot weather. No aparent reason at all as there is no lifeguard on duty."

"Wonderful hotel directly on a beautiful private beach. It never felt crowded despite being full. The room was very nice with a big terrace and sea view. The staff was super helpful and nice. Restauranrs within walking distance. Would happily come back. "

"Room was very nicely furnished, comfortable bed, very clean and spacious. Facilities consist of electronic safe, small clothes hanging rail,tv (not satellite,only Greek) fridge,kettle,mugs,glasses and tea spoons,( plates and knives would have been useful though for snacks). Overall very nice, convenient for restaurants and bars, not advisable if you have a problem with stairs as there are a lot of steps to climb to enter the apartments from the street. Staff are very friendly and helpful."

"Great location for access to Skiathos town. Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful. Apartment was large clean and adequate for us. The bathroom had a good shower in a walk in cubicle. The bed was large and comfy. Plenty of wardrobe space. Continental breakfast was served in the apartment on a daily basis. Didn’t use the pool facility so can’t really comment on that. We used it as a base to drive to the beaches around the island. The property had its own car park. This was across the road from the property but easy to find and use. There are approximately 50 steps from the road to the reception. Not a problem for us but might be for some older persons. Staff are on hand to help with luggage on arrival and departure. The description of some of the facilities/amenities needs updating on the Expedia site. Would definitely stay again. "

"Be careful if you are booking this hotel. We booked a standard room for five nights 31 May to 5 June. We were promised a “balcony or terrace” but what we got was a basement room opening onto a communal playing-field area. Zero privacy, children running up and down in front of everyone’s rooms, noise, basically everyone on top of everyone else. We didn’t stay as the hotel was full and they could offer no alternative. We booked the Princess Skiathos Resort through Expedia and that was excellent. Alkyon put the room back on their website and it was gone within 24 hours. I asked for a reasonable refund given the hotel had misrepresented the details but the hotel manager claimed to have no power over such decisions and head office were no help whatsoever. Expedia, who we booked through, were excellent throughout; however they were unable to influence the hotel to give us a reasonable refund even though Alkyon had re-let the room. The hotel’s position in Skiathos town is excellent and if you don’t mind the proximity of other people right outside your room then I’m sure it’s fine. If you value your personal space, however, be very careful to check what you are actually getting. And don’t expect any help from management. "

"Staff very friendly and helpful Lovely and quiet location 5 minutes walk from the ferries with a lovely rooftop pool and pool bar. Only a few restaurants and a small supermarket in the immediate vicinity. We hired a car for 2 days to visit the rest of the Island. Glossa is built above Loutraki on the hillside and is beautiful with lots of restaurants to choose from. Taxi near the hotel so easy to get up there "

"Best view on the island! Staff very very focused on hospitality. Was such a welcome relief to stay here for r n r after a few weeks of traveling n feeling very tired. If elderly or mobility problem just be aware many stairs and no lift"
