"We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We stayed on 4th floor which was recently added and the room was fantastic. View was stunning and we had everything we needed. It's very convenient to have a spa in a hotel! Breakfast was great (homemade Greek food)! Natasa, the receptionist, was very welcoming and super friendly. We will return!"

"This hotel has had some bad reviews well to be honest I really don't understand why. The hotel is clean, the views are great, the pool is clean and the breakfast is ok ( we had b&b not half board). Yes you need transport to get about however we walked into town on several occasions and didn't find the 30-40 min walk that bad and we're both in our early 60's, there's actually a free shuttle bus which runs 3 times a day into town and twice back from town. Would we stay here again yes most...

"Avaton is a lovely small hotel about 20-25 minutes walk outside of Skiathos. Very convenient for bus stop and travel around the island. Clean hotel rooms With small bathroom. Good buffet breakfast."

"I booked this four-star hotel for a week to celebrate my Wedding Anniversary. I am sorry to say it is not four-star and everything is old and it needs a total refurbishment. All the public areas: breakfast room- lobbies- corridors were not air conditioned because the nasty Manager would not switch it on in 40•C!! We and all the other guests could not eat the very poor breakfast in the hear. Everyone was sweating in the very sunny and unbearable room. Manager yelled at me because I complained....

"Impressive building, just a few minutes (steep) walk to main square. 3 night stay. Very spacious and nicely decorated bedroom with heavy wood, Good beds. Average breakfast. Nice main terrace with views. Friendly staff. To be repeated ! "
