"I made a trip to Chesapeake with my Mom and her little dog. This house was a great place for us to stay! We enjoyed using the large screened porch, and the dog loved the huge back yard. This is an older house, but it has had some updates and was very comfortable. We loved the retro kitchen with the blue countertops and matching blue appliances! "Our crew needed a location to unwind and recharge while working in Pasquotank County. This location checked every box for our crew. Tam, was very responsive and communicated in a timely manner. Highly recommend. "

"The house was perfect for our family! Very well stocked kitchen! Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board that were provided to use in the canal right out back! Wild horses literally under the house while we were there, beautiful! Kevin was amazing! We called because propane was low and he was there in less than 20 minutes. The next day he drove by on a boat and we were on the deck and stopped to check if we were ok. Couldn’t ask for a better host! Thanks Kevin! "

"This was the get away we needed. Beautiful home in a sand community by the ocean. Who could.ask for anything better. We loved the open space of this home. Watching the sunset from the top balcony, bbq'd, swam in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub and played a game of pool and of coarse the beach was right there. There is a small park down the road and we got to see wild horses. We had the best time. Kids were exhausted from all the fun and so were the adults. Thank you."

"This property was a magnificent property when it was built approximately twenty years ago. It has a great number of bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. It is spacious and it has many built-in features (fireplace, in-room audio with older apple ipod connections, working elevator). We found its location in Corolla to be convenient, and although it is set back one street from the dunes, we found a passageway over the dune that was very close. "We arrived in Norfolk frazzled by life but the drive to OBX and ensuing beach drive literally helped us depressurize like our tire air pressure. Our hosts provided great directions, a clean and cozy home, and all the watercraft toys we could have hoped for, plus fishing gear. Four nights was definitely too short, just sayin’. "
