"Can’t say enough about this place! Posh English Inn with dog friendly pub with many of the locals coming in to dine. Food was excellent for foodies, easily managed food allergies in group, and very courteous. Want a true English experience stay here! The town was lovely, steeped in history and great to walk around for some exercise. "

"The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out. I can’t say the stay was worth the price."

"There isn’t anything I can say negative about the Place. We have stayed there before and now decided whenever we return to Swindon we would not stay anywhere else. It’s such a Friendly place and the Staff are so helpful and obliging. Rooms are immaculate. Everything you need is there and spotlessly clean. Food great and Breakfast outstanding. What more can I say. Well Done to the whole team can’t wait to return. "

"A girlfriend and I wanted a few days R and R. This stunning property and location fitted the bill. The beds were so comfortable! Felt cocooned for a few days. Just what we needed. Would recommend the property to anyone wanted to get away from it all. Only downside was the check in process as it was dark by 4pm. We struggled to find the property despite good directions and then found we could not see very well to open the key box. "
