"We stayed for 1 night only and from the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We were able to park in the hotel car park but spaces are limited. There is parking available on the street outside but check the signs as some places are for 2 hours max. The hotel is welcoming, warm and very comfy. Our room, no. 40, a twin, is on the top floor and suited us perfectly. It's quiet and spotlessly clean with plenty of room for all our things.The shower is hot but dont expect a power shower! We were treated to a welcome coffee and the breakfast was really good quality and plenty of it. It was a lovely stay, wish it had been for longer"

"The hotel was fantastic, on arrival we were greeted at reception then shown to our room, the room was lovely and clean, spacious and quiet, there was air conditioning so we were able to regulate the temperature to suit us. The breakfast was superb, better than I have had in some time, a great selection of continental and cooked options were available. The bar area was very comfortable and we were given complimentary drinks in lieu of room cleaning on day 2 which was a nice surprise. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from town and there are plenty of places to eat/drink if you do not want to eat in the hotel bistro. The only slight negative would be the parking, it is on site but not included in the price and was £15 per day, I would expect this if the parking was off site which is normal for a city centre hotel, but as as it was on site I felt this was a little excessive. Previously I have paid £9/£10 for discounted off site parking. Having said that it would not put us off on the future, we were very happy with the hotel, it was comfortable and welcoming, overall an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again."
