"We came to stay as a group of 6 adults and 3 children for a weekend of skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our home away from home for the weekend. The house was spacious but cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed! The house just minutes from Mt Sunapee, Our only complaint is that the downstairs bedroom got quite hot, and that the boiler pipes were a bit noisy if downstairs. We would definitely stay here again though - the kids loved it."

"The Sugar River Treehouse is thoughtfully designed providing all the amenities needed. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to experience a unique setting with our two dogs. We plan on returning in the summer to enjoy the benefits of the Sugar River. "

"We had a great ski weekend at Sunapee. The house was immaculate, exactly as described and pictured and perfect for an extended ski weekend. Everything was well organized and labeled and the house had everything we needed. Great view of Lake Sunapee from the living room as we sat by the wood stove. "Michelle made our experience super easy and memorable! Drive up a private road and a pretty steep hill (4wd a must in winter) to a secluded, beautiful house with plenty of space. Just you and nature. The house itself has all the amenities - full kitchen, sitting areas, and even a wood stove that Michelle started up before we got there. Beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms have insane mountaintop views. Michele even left a few eggs for starter breakfast which was much appreciated. You can’t...

"I picked this property mainly because of the town and cost. I traveled with family as my son in laws band played two shows in VT.The house went above expectations. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. It was fun to look at all the artwork and check out the many books.I highly recommend and would definitely book again.The "

"We rented this house to attend a family wedding in Sunapee. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, crafts and games and a movie room, and a ton of space for all. We had a wonderful stay, thanks very much. "

"This house is walking distance to where we always have Thanksgiving dinner, and if feels like home now. The games were a treat for my 7 year-old grandson, kept him out of the preoccupation with screens. I love the trees and the view. The kitchen has everything I needed.After two years in an apartment, I really appreciate the real fireplace. I miss the pictures on the walls which have been there in previous years, but that is minor, compared to the pleasure I feel staying here. I am so grateful."

"The property is exactly as stated in the listing. The host is extremely responsive and great at communicating. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of space for 6 adults. "This is a lovely property - we have stayed here multiple times and will be back. The house is spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and Mt. Sunapee is only about 7 mins from the house - so perfect for skiers. My kids also LOVE the pool/ping pong table in the basement. Bonus points for super responsive host!"

"My wife, our two dogs, and I, had a lovely few days at Grey Gables. The cottage was clean, cozy, and only steps from the lake, private dock, and sitting area. Communication was excellent. We will definitely be back. "

"We loved this house! It was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The video game was fun for the kids. Plenty of space in the living area and mud room. The host communicated with us before and during our stay. One bedroom is up a steep, spiral flight of stairs. That was fine for us and disclosed in the description, but may be more difficult for older or physically impaired guests. We appreciated the washer/dryer. Highly recommend!"

"This was our second stay at the cozy cottage amd was just as enjoyable as the first time . Glenn and Melanie are very responsive and like to makesure their guests are comfortable and happy . We loved waking up on the lake and enjoyed the back deck and firepit. We look forward to renting here again in the future. P"

"This hotel has been renovated recently and done nicely. It's located right behind the Salt Hill Pub and Restaurant so a very easy close walk. The Hotel is dark grey in color, a sign is on the Salt Hill Pub sign which we missed when looking for the Hotel, drove past and had to turn around to find it. Rooms are smaller, small table, two chairs, no dressers for clothes, but a wide bench for luggage, etc. Nice new bathroom and good shower. Good heat from wall mounted unit, a bit noisy at night but no biggie. Has a nice looking indoor pool but didn't try it. TV has mostly movies and older shows, nothing live like local news stations but some Canadian stations, Friendly staff, coffee in AM near the front desk, overall nice place and would stay again. Very close to Sunapee ski area access road and the rotary."

"Everything was super BUT I would have liked recycling containers in the dining area for the plastic juice/ fruit cups. They were next to the elevator with the trash can! I had to ask for more towels but that was easy remedied! Delicious breakfast with many selections including gluten free options!"

"We had a room with 2 king beds. It was Very spacious with a second level with one bed, bathroom and seating area that our teenage daughter claimed. The kitchen area was more than sufficient. The only thing lacking was a view of the Lake. Great space. "
