"Amazing experience "

"Had a lovely holiday week. We had the house and flat, ideal for our party of 9 and three dogs. Plenty of space for everyone to relax. Kitchens have just been refurbished, main house one wasn't quite finished but not a problem. Love the outside space too, enclosed garden for the children and dogs. Visited both the pubs for drinks and meals too, good food and welcome."

"A lovely spacious place located in the heart of Tavistock. Rooms were great and the living area really spacious. There’s no parking but we made it work with our 3 cars using local roads and short/long stay car parks. The wood fire was out of action but the place was warm and cosy with the heating on."

"We stayed for new year and have a great time the only thing I would say it when we arrived the lodge was cold and a little damp would have been nice to come into some warmth. Once we left heaters on for a while it warmed up. Pool was great, good in the pub was delicious all round we had a great time "

"Stayed with 3 other couples and the lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean, spacious and so quiet on the site. Close to roadford lake with lovely walks and close to villages for pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"The cottage is comfortable and spacious with plenty of sitting and eating space for 6 people. The kitchen is very well equipped - wonderful to have easy to use appliances! The host is extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to others."

"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. Communication with the owner was only by email so we couldn’t call him. We emailed the owner twice to get the full address of the property which was only given to us as we...
