"A lovely location with full use of the grounds which we greatly enjoyed, strolling with our dog around the pond and the meadow and sitting out in the secluded garden when the weather permitted. The house was comfortable and well equipped, and best of all, peaceful. The house is well located for visiting the countryside and north coast of Devon. A slight quibble, in that, on a cold wet first day, the house was not warm enough, but that was quickly remedied with the owners, who were very helpful...

"The Linhay was a great choice for us as we attended a wedding at nearby Tregulland. The countryside is very quiet around the accommodation—a car is absolutely required. It's just 10 minutes drive to Launceston for all amenities, a half hour drive to the sea, and a few miles drive to an excellent pub, The Rising Sun. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the host's homemade scones. Our hosts were on-site and very pleasant to deal with. We find Home Away a somewhat slower process than...

"Stunning location by the river. Remote and peaceful. Don't take a big car!!! Its a narrow track to the cottage!!! Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside decking area. Comfortable lounge. Very helpful neighbours and hosts. Our only complaint was the very noisy boiler which woke the whole house up every morning !"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at the cottage at Higher Kellacott. Our time there was a highlight of our trip to England. The location was gorgeous. Georgina and David were warm and friendly - the perfect hosts. We were lucky to arrive during lambing season and had the opportunity to hold one of the lambs and meet her family! The cottage was sparkling clean with every convenience. Georgina offers, for a fee, her homemade food and we happily partook of her croissants and vegetarian...

"A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list."
