"The staff were extremely helpful and on hand if and when we needed them. This is an old building which has kept its character which added to the experience. The room had an en-suite and was clean and the water was nice and hot. They don’t do evening meals but Okehampton is not far away so eating out is not a problem. Breakfast was excellent and plenary of choice."

The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The rooms were clean, warm and welcoming with everything you needed, breakfast was delicious and we would highly recommend this little gem of a place. "

The premises are within easy reach of main roads to nearby Exeter and the coast, as well as lovely local pubs including Traveller’s Rest and Kings Arms for evening meals. "We had a lovely one night stay. The hot tub was great and the beds were very comfy. Having a drying room was a good bonus and we appreciated being able to borrow things like plastic glasses to use in the hot tub and sliders. "

"Our stay was just totally amazing. The Tavistock Town House is a beautiful, very well maintained family home in a perfect central location in Tavistock. Liz could not have been a more perfect helpful host. All the essentials and more are provided…the welcoming Afternoon tea and milk in the fridge was just the icing in the cake!…will definitely be planning another stay soon !! "
