"Our family of 5 stayed at Maison des Etoiles for 2 nights (kids age 3, 5, 8). The house is amazing! The views, the open air, the staff - so peaceful and relaxing, truly special. My favorite part was the master bedroom and waking up looking out to the Petit Piton - so magical. Only caveat for little kids: you do need to keep a close eye on them as building codes in St Lucia are not as strict. Mary was wonderfully welcoming and cooked a tasty meal for us on arrival day. Pious was so helpful and drove us around on our day out. We hope to be back soon!"

"Unique resort with an astonishing view from the hillside above the center of Soufriére. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool and bar area. Good restaurant. Short (if steep) walk to the beach and town. Heed other reviews about stairs -- the hillside setting is what gives this resort charm, but if you don't like climbing stairs it won't be for you. There will be some noise from roosters and dogs in the town early in the mornings, so bring earplugs or a white noise machine if you're a light sleeper and you like to sleep late. Overall a great value compared to other very pricey nearby resorts if you want an amazing view."

"Lovely property with exceptional views, close to town of Soufriere, friendly and accommodating staff. The road in to the property was a little bumpy and rocky but still definitely accessible. Good sized room with comfortable bed and nice kitchen area. Roosters were a little noisy! We would stay there again."

"Michele and her husband were the best hosts and very friendly. Anything you ask for at all they were so accommodating. They made us feel welcome and it was a pleasure staying there. The restaurants food was good and very convenient. You do need a car or a driver to go to any excursions or out. But the view and walking right on the beach was break taking and amazing!!! Thank you "
