"Recently stayed at Le Gallerie of Sea and Sun and had a fantastic week. There were nine of us in the house and there was plenty of room for all. The open air concept of the house was wonderful and the size gave everyone the opportunity to mix and socialize or find a quiet corner to read and relax. The pool was lovely and was nearly constantly used. The Chef, Pablo was fantastic and created fantastic meals and went out of his way to prepare anything we asked for. The house manager, Bernard, also responsible for transport, was equally wonderful and helped out immensely with near daily shopping trip runs to help us resupply. The owner was incredibly easy to deal with and responded quickly to any questions. A few things to be aware of, the house is sometimes advertised as 6 bedrooms but 5 is more accurate. The other sleeping spaces are adjacent or connected to primary bedrooms. This wasn't a problem for our guests but if you are a larger group, it's something to be aware of. There can be an occasional plumbing issue, primarily toilets not working but the staff were quick to address these. Stairs down to the ocean and the walk down the road to the beach can both be very strenuous, they are not a casual easy stroll. Both trips are worth it for the results but they do take a degree of stamina. We truly had a once in a life time experience and would recommend the property again in a minute. The staff made the stay all that more wonderful and are so thankful for them. "

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have picked a better place! Our room and the view from it was amazing, and the staff made us feel like royalty. The amenities are excellent here especially the hike of the trails. We would definitely stay again! "

"Loved our stay at hotel Chocolat. Tranquil setting and unique location on a cocoa plantation, there are lovely walks around the grounds especially to the viewpoint over the Pitons from the 'big nature trail'. We enjoyed the view from the restaurant and pool areas while having breakfast and sunset drinks. A couple of the staff were less friendly but generally service was good. Our meal in the restaurant was a bit cold but they were busy and did try and resolve it. We used the free beach shuttle one day (not the best beach but good snorkeling), did a morning yoga class and the chocolate making tour.Overall I would definitely recommend. "

"Really enjoyed our recent stay at Samfi Gardens. Beautiful views of the Pitons. Staff were very kind and attentive, helped with booking transportation and restaurants. Room was very comfortable, air conditioning worked great. Grounds were beautiful and an abundance of birds and other wildlife nearby. Walking distance to The Beacon for breakfast/lunches and their amazing botanical garden. Taxi service provided by Nicko who was a very safe reliable driver and a great tour guide too. Book airport transfer through the hotel. Would love to return again in future."

"Really lovely little place in a beautiful lush setting. Comfy & quiet rooms with aircon and a wonderful buffet breakfast with a good variety of hot & cold food, fresh fruit and cakes. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant, good price (cheaper than in town) and delicious food. The staff was really friendly. We used the free shuttle to beautiful Sugary beach and walked to Tet Paul - a lovely walk with a beautiful view. Having a car would be a plus to get to the mud bath, volcano, waterfalls, Soufrier and beach. They are all about a 15-20 min drive away. We used taxis but they are a bit expensive on the island. "

"This was such a lovely stay! The views couldn’t be better, the house was warm and welcoming, and the pool was complete tropical relaxation. Damian and Zela warmly welcomed us upon our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Jehoiakim was a terrific driver and guide to the island - and just a wonderful person all together. Keith always kept in good communication with us before, during and after our stay to make us feel most welcomed. It was everything we wanted and more while visiting the beautiful island of Saint Lucia. "
