"My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel because of the price. We needed an affordable option near Duluth for our Anniversary for 2 nights. Everything was amazing!!! "Came for a business meeting and needed no frills, so picked the cheapest place I could find. When they handed me a brass key and not a magnetic card, I was a bit worried. Don't let the older style of this building fool you. This had the feel of a 1970s motel but was really clean and comfortable. The room had the 'Northern Woods' decor seen in a lot of places in Hayward, so it was cozy and woodsy. Pretty view of the river and super close to everything. Pleasantly surprised."
