"My husband, our dog, and I just returned from another relaxing long weekend at the Fancy Fireflies cabin, and as always, it was absolutely wonderful. We've stayed here a few times over the years, and each visit feels like a cozy retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The tiny cabin is so charming and peaceful. We especially love the location. We’ll definitely be back again soon!"

"This was a perfectly secluded spot for our winter weekend excursion and the cozy cabin provided fireplace warmth from the cold. We immediately felt at home as every detail was carefully considered from the furnishings to the amply stocked kitchen with plates, utensils and glassware for any style of cooking and imbibing. We explored the outdoors with our 3-year old Labrador Retriever who loved every minute of running and playing ball up and down the long driveway, and bounding through the snow on the frozen lake while we snowshoed. "We had our family ice fishing trip this past weekend and had a great time. The location is beautiful and the cabin is amazing. I think I was most happy with the comfy beds…I’ve stayed at other places on the lake and the beds were less than comfy. Very happy with the kitchen amenities as well. All around great place and Liz was super easy to communicate with. For fishing, we did catch northern pike and perch right out from the cabin. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Comfortable cabin in the woods of Hayward. XC skiing trails available out the front door that meander through wooded trails connecting to the Birkie trail. Quiet and relaxing cabin with well furnished kitchen and fireplace. Jennifer was very accommodating and an exceptional communicator. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"Very clean facility, nicely remodeled, quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful, a malfunctioning TV remote was replaced within minutes. Very comfy mattress, clean room, huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and immediate hot water. parking a few steps away, not in front of room. Many eateries within 1-2 miles. Only downside: no breakfast but as mentioned many eateries for every taste within 1-2 miles"
